Environmental Program "Global Clean Up Relay”

  My journey will take place in November of this year, it will be to Mexico City, and we will stay at a hotel near our destination, that is the Chapultepec Forest. The weather will be cold, around 14° C. The environmental program is the Global Clean Up Relay, that has as purpose to clean many areas where there are plasticsand trash. Some of the activities we will do, will be picking up the trash at the forest and cleaning the nearest rivers.

  In July we were in a shed that were lent to us during our stay in Veracruz as volunteers. The purpose of the environmental program “Global Clean Up Relay” is to raise awareness in people and together, to make the cleaning of rivers, beaches and forests. The weather was very hot every morning. During my stay I have visited affected families, I delivered groceries, and I did a lecture. In the coming days we are going to return to tour the forest and beaches, collecting as much as garbage as possible, and we are going to separate it so we can recycle it.  

  My journey to the enviromental program called “Global Clean Up Relay” in which I am already a volunteer, started today at 7:00am from the Toluca’s bus stop, and took place in Valle de Bravo. The hotel where this program booked for all of us, is currently one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever been . The weather in this month is about 24° C, which means that the weather is tempered. The purpose of this program is about make awareness of the damage we are making to our planet, and for that, I am going to do activities, like the cleaning of lakes, rivers, forest, and places where there are trash and plastics around the town.
